At DIY Hunter, we are more like you then you think. We work day jobs, own a business and find a way to get it done on a budget. We want to cater to the everyday sportsman and enable them to go on the hunts they dream of. It may be a lot more attainable than you even think. While currently living in southern Delaware I am originally from Pennsylvania and grew up heading to the “Big Woods” of north central PA for deer camp and trout fishing until my family moved there during high school.
I currently reside in the great city of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and have for the past 6 years, but was born and raised in northwestern Pennsylvania in the town of Emporium PA where I grew up with one of my partners in crime, John Dillon. I was born into an outdoor world with being from a small, blue-collar town, I remember getting 2 days of school closing just to hunt deer and missing the first day of doe season as well. Needless to say the move to the territory of Pittsburgh was not a drastic change other than the population density increase of about 10 fold per mile of land it seems.
